The workshop Topic: Reviewing of legal standards in international commercial contracts

First speaker: Mr. Baki Maneche

The training workshop started at 9:30 in one of the legal offices of the Bar Association in Paris with the speech of Mr. Baki Maneche. After welcoming the group to Paris and the workshop, Mr. Baki Maneche started his speech with the legal standards in the articles of dispute resolution and governing laws in arbitration.

Baki Meneche continued by explaining the two types of sanctions imposed on Iran in international trade and then talked about the importance of negotiations before concluding a contract.

Second speaker:

Mr. Ian Kayanakis, CEO of Welkin & Meraki, presented several construction projects with full details on the private investment opportunities in Europe.

The third speaker:

Mr. Martin Hammer, the founder and one of the partners of Welkin & Meraki, having his speech part online from Germany, made suggestions regarding the economic problems in Europe and the necessity to participate and cooperate with foreign businessmen to invest in various EU projects.

The fourth speaker:

Dr. Fawzi Baba Ali, one of the professors and elites of the University of Paris about digital marketing and smart sales, based on his experiences and research, mentioned the necessary points for better access to domestic and foreign markets.

The fifth speaker:

Ms. Mina Alavash talked about the specialized words in the texts of international commercial contracts and further explained the importance of putting sentences in each of the paragraphs of the contract related to each legal article that is included in the contract. Alavash completed his teaching contract by showing some samples and pointing out the necessary points in the signing part of the parties.

Venue: Entrepreneurship company MEVO Val-d’Oise

The business meeting started at 10:00 a.m. in the Mevo central building with the presence of the company president and some business associations. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Michel Jonqueres welcomed the Iranian business owners, then spoke with each merchant and got acquainted with their company’s activities. After the introduction session, Mr. Jonqueres provided extensive information on Mevo’s activities.

The next speaker was Ms. Medeya Spasova from the Economic Development Committee of Ceevo company introduced one of the new projects of this company which was an air taxi, this air taxi is supposed to be responsible for transporting passengers in the 2024 Olympics. He also introduced some other new projects and expressed this company’s interest in cooperating with Iranian startups and entrepreneurial companies.

Two other speakers, Ms. Marie Charistine Rigano, CEO of Galaxia Company, spoke about her company’s cosmetics and perfumery products, as well as the announcement of readiness with Iranian businessmen, and Mr. Said Ferri, Managing Director of CCIVAL-d; Oise Trading Company, announced his company’s readiness and interest with Iranian businesspeople and private companies.

After introducing the managers of French companies, a meeting was held between the present Iranian companies and French managers.
