The webinar started at 11:30 with the introduction of the Topic, content, and professor’s resume by Ms. Mina Alavash, the Director of International affairs of Asre Qalam Institute.
Then Dr. Wolfgang Hein started his lecture with the content and applied training topics of Crisis Management in difficult business conditions. Dr. Hein discussed the following topics in his lecture:
- What is a Crisis? Investigate the causes.
- Inflation
- Price increases and inflation are top risks.
- Which regions are affected by the consequences?
- EU trade relations with Iran.
- Crisis companies expect in 2023 and 2024,
- More crisis will come, think 93%
- A new financial crisis is most likely 45%
- Climate change hits companies hard 43%
- Cyberwar cripples the economy 37%
- New virus pandemic threatens 35%
The professor’s advice after stating the details of the above cases was as follows: Companies should be able to create savings cores as much as possible with the knowledge of the probability of these predictions and upcoming risks, in order to face this crisis. Use kernels.
Then they suggested the following solutions:
- Management cycle
- SWOT analysis of strength-weakness-opportunity-threat)
- Pestle analysis (policy-economy-society-technology-legal-environment)
- Risk management process
The professor’s advice after stating the details of the above cases was as follows:
Companies should be able to create savings cores as much as possible with the knowledge of the probability of these predictions and upcoming risks, in order to face economic crisis.

It means,
When the wind blows, some people build a wall against the heavy and strong wind, and some, on the contrary, use this wind to their advantage.
At the end of the webinar, there was a question-and-answer session where the professor answered all the questions.
